Hardware specifications
What is on the RoboCore V2 controller board, and the robot built around it. V2 is our newest prototype, so details may still change before the pilot kits.
The controller board
- ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 (N8R2): dual-core up to 240 MHz, 8 MB flash, 2 MB PSRAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE, USB-C
- 2 encoder motor ports (DRV8411A, 1.0 A per motor) and 4 servo ports at 5.5 V
- LSM6DSOX 6-axis IMU, ultrasonic and 3-channel line sensor ports, Qwiic (I²C)
- 1S Li-ion battery on XT30 with reverse and over-voltage cut-off; USB-C charging up to 1 A
- WS2812B RGB LED, buzzer, RESET, BOOT and USER buttons, two 14-pin expansion headers
- 68 × 60 mm, four layers
The robot
167 × 278 × 118 mm, with two driven wheels, an arm with a gripper and a 3D-printed body.
